  • In 2001, Wallace joined the Iowa State and earned offensive newcomer of the year by the Big 12 coaches and the Associated Press.
  • At the Cyclone Football awards banquet, Wallace earned ISU's offensive co-MVP and outstanding offensive newcomer
  • Became offensive MVP of the Independence Bowl.
  • Against Alabama he recorded 284 yards 25 of 42 passing attempts.
  • Became the key player of Iowa State by hitting 20-of-27 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown.
  • Marked career-high 363 yards of total offense ranking fifth in the single-game school history.
  • Iowa State logged 445 yards of total offense with Wallace.
  • Against Oklahoma State , he hit 16-of-19 passes for 150 yards and rushed for 67 yards and one TD on 10 carries.
  • Against Cowboys, he delivered an outstanding performance.
  • At Missouri , he hit 13-of-22 passes for 75 yards and rushed for 73 yards on 13 carries.
  • Recorded extraordinary 17-yard scoring run at Nebraska .
  • Ranked second in Big 12 Conference total offense.
  • Completed 22-of-24 passes for a career-high 299 yards and four TDs.
  • First Iowa State quarterback to throw four TD passes in a game since 1998.
  • Led ISU to victory against Northern Iowa by rushing for 97 yards on five carries.

    Junior College Experience:

    •  Selected as a preseason JUCO All-American.
    •  Earned first-team all-conference.
    •  As a freshman attempted 550 yards on 49 carries for nine touchdowns.
    •  Logged 106-of-155 passes for 1,398 yards and seven TDs.
    •  Registered 330 yards and 13 touchdowns on 25 carries.
    •  A two-time Capitol Shrine Bowl Champion.
    •  Instructed by Coach Dave Griffin.
    •  Also played as a kicker.
    •  Ended the season as a first-team JUCO All-American.

    •  Named first-team all-Sierra Conference.
    •  Earned the 1998 California All-Star team.
