Last Updated: November 11th, 2004 Public Fiction By The Mad Republican It's very surprising to me how people in other countries other then the United States, have taken charm to this years presidential U.S Election, where as four years ago the interest itself wasn't as transparent. So why all of a sudden the interest in politics? In my view, people around the world were watching with a close eye, this election simply for one reason, to see if President Bush was defeated on November 2nd. But here's the kicker, you now have people in those same countries calling Americans selfish, and stupid for voting George W. Bush back into office, even though this shows that the American opinion of the President was never as dimmed as the media bias would have you believe. So for two long years, people of other countries, leaders of other countries, members of the U.N., and council has tried with every attempt to paint the American President with just a God awful brush, comparing him to Adolf Hitler, and repeatedly calling him a puppet, nor a stupid man. Well, for two long years it seems everyone had their say about America, and it's people, but yesterday, the Americans had the last word. You know what makes me feel sick to my stomach? Terrorist attacks on our country, one after another in the 90's, and our president not doing anything about it, or enough so to stop it. This war on terrorism my fellow people, wasn't chosen, we have to do something about it, and until you're country was attacked, and you've seen and felt what we had, then you have no right to tell us how to police our country. The Elections in the United States just proved a very powerful point, and if you don't get it, then we're not going to wait until you do. |
