If I closed my eyes would things be different when I opened them?
Would I open them to a new day?
Or open them to the troubles that torment me.
It would be easier to close my eyes forever.
I wish I could dry these tears...never to have them fall again.
To feel nothing at all, rather than endure the pain.
To release everything that is in me.
Just to close my eyes forever.
