Sometimes it's easier to run than to face what is in front of you.
It seems to be more than anyone can handle.
If I could change it all I would.
But some changes just aren't possible.
So we hide all the hurt and pain inside so it's not seen.
Put on a face the world will accept.
To pretend to move forward.
But know inside it's easier to run.
