It's Big Monster Spectacular Friday
Well, it's Friday, and I only had one class today, which was computer class. It was cool, because nothing really difficult. All we talked about was mobos, processors, fans, PSU, NIC, etc....

Oh yeah, I got to see Heather again. (We have class like everyday together.) She's really nice, and I enjoy being around her. We walked back to my car after class, and talked for like 5-10 minutes. Her and Desiree are going to a football game tonight at MGM, and I'm thinking about going. Why? Well, anyone who knows me knows that I don't really care for sports. I'm going because Heather is going to be there.

And if you're wondering why I care so much to be around this girl, it's because I like her personality and the way she is. Reminds me of myself.

Dual-Booting and The Girl again...
Well, I've set my computer up on a dual-boot situation. My MBR (Master Boot Record) has a boot loader install, and I have Windows XP, RedHat Linux 9.0, and Debian/Knoppix-STD Linux.

I've been going to my classes and stuff, and I've noticed that I really like classes now, thanks to a certain someone. Heather. Yeah, she's cool.

I wonder what she thinks of me? I hope I'm "cool". Cool being a subjective term, I'm a nerd, lol.

Anyways, I really hope that we can become good friends in the future, I'm glad I got the chance to meet such a sweet girl, that's into the same stuff as me.

Well, I'm gonna go watch a vid, and learn some more UNIX Shell Commands.

College Days and a Girl....
Well, I haven't posted in a few days, so I thought I'd write some more about what's been happening. I've been attending my stupid computer classes, which are way below my level. And everyday of class is kinda old, but I do have some good news. I actually met this girl who's cute AND into computers. Wow, talk about cool. She's fun to talk to, and I think that we'll be pretty good friends. Her name is Heather.

Oh, and she loves computers, anime, and The Matrix. I wonder who that sounds like........hmmm...(I'm such a diehard Matrix fan, and a computer nerd, so, ya know.)

I'm listening to some rock music on my 4.1 Surround Sound right now.

***UPDATE***
I was just reading Heather's blog, and I now realize something even more than before. She is EXACTLY like me. Wow, a female version of Cody. Now I really think that I'm going to enjoying being friends with her. What other girls out there could I say is cute, AND have intelligent conversations with... not many, I'm glad I met her. And the odd thing is, we have a mutual friend. Desiree, one of my friends from MGM that gradutated with me. I'll keep you posted on where this goes in the future.

I just created a new website for my Counter-Strike clan. It's called Clan Phoenix. The address to it is:

It's still in it's infancy, I really haven't done much to it. But that will be the place to get info on our clan, as well as information you'll need if you want to join.

Oh, and it's for videogames, so don't go thinking I'm crazy or something, a clan in the sense I'm talking about is me and a group of friends playing an online multiplayer game against other people.

Creating a Server
Hey, sorry I haven't been updating in awhile. Yesterday was Labor Day, and I used that free day to do something I always wanted to do: create my own Server for Quake III: Arena and Counter-Strike. I finally figured out how to foward my ports, so it's all good now. I'm trying to install a program called Half-Life Admin MOD, which basically gives me full control over everything that happens in the game, so if someone joins my server and is being an ass, I'll either kick or ban them. Anyways, I have class to go to, I'll be back later.

Tired
Well, I've been really busy with school, which is making me tired, so that's why haven't updated in a few days, All I have today is Computer class, I'm going to go just because I don't want to miss class, but I won't be learning anything new today, so it's just a waste of time. The only place I know of to park is about a 20 minute walk to my computer class. So I have to kill myself with 20 minutes of walking to hear some broad babble about what a computer is, and how it works. Yeah, I had no idea what a computer was....yeah right. Waste of time, lol. I can't wait to get out of this baby class and get to something more hardc0re.

Another Day of Classes
Well, I had another day of classes today. It was Philosophy: Intro to Logic and English 101.

It was pretty cool, I had an hour and forty-five minutes in-between my two classes, so I went to the student center and hung out with my friend Tim. I also bumped into this girl I knew from MGM (we only met once at MGM, and not for long) so it was good to see her again. We walked around some places together (NOTE: She's hot). I have to go back tomorrow for classes again, it'll be like a repeat of Monday (hopefully without parking issues), with Computer and Precalculus.

Oh, and I rented/watched The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I've never seen it, and it was really good. I can't wait until Return of the King comes out. And I reallyyyy can't wait for The Matrix Revolutions to come out, it's going to be epic. Well, Tom Green comes on in 30 minutes, and I'm worn out from today.

First Day of College Classes
Well, it's official now. I've been to my first college class today at 10AM-11AM. It was Intro to Computer Science. Yeah, like I really need that class...ha! Oh well, lets just call this fucker "GPA Booster". They're gonna teach us about hardware, software, OS, basic networking, and other basic topics. It's not that I don't love this stuff (which I do, I bet I'll be so engrossed with this class I might forget everything else, lol), but it's just that I know a lot of this stuff, and for someone that's advanced like me, we like learning new stuff. So, the new stuff will come probably around next semester.

As for how my first day went, I got to the campus about 20-25 minutes early. I was like "OK, I'm here early." Good thing that I came early, because the traffic on campus was so fucked up. It took forever to find a place to park, and I finally found a place, far away from the building I was supposed to go to. So I had to take a 15 minute walk to class, which resulted in me being 15 minutes late for my first class! Opps, not my fault. I'll have to go all commando and scout out good locations and times for the best parking.

The class was cool, the teacher (who's very hot, by the way) talked about the class and all the things she expects us to know by the end of her class (which won't be much, I know alot of this basic stuff anyways, but this class is required, because they assume we're stupid with computers...NOTE: Don't assume and make an ASS out of U and ME...lol, I learned that in High School, those were the days...)

Anyways, I have another class this evening from 6PM-7:15PM, it's .... GASP! Precalculus Algebra. Someone help me, lol. I sit here and watch the clock slowly reach 6PM, and I'm like, "Ehhhh, I gotta go again, I hope I can PARK this time". I'm sure it'll be OK, or maybe not.

Oh, I brought my digital camera with me this morning, but I was in such a hurry to get to my class I forgot about it. If I get time, I wanna take some photos of my classes/campus for my *lovely* web audience here. Yeah, well, I'll let you know how this 2nd class for today goes when I get back. Until then...

My First College Party
Woohoo! If there's a more perfect way to feel like you're in college, attend a college party, my friend. It was freakin' awesome. It was held on the Delta Lawn (for those of you not familar with the greek system, it's the place where the college peeps live) It was from 8-11PM (I left around 10PM).

I got there, and I got a drink, and I was cruising through the crowd of kids, (not to mention all the fine ass chicks there! hehe,,,,,ooohhhhhhh, college chicks, coeds, etc...*snap out of it, Cody*)

Anyways, they had a huge video projector, and they had some kickass music on, and people were dancing, and some people were talking. It was cool. They had a dance contest for the couples, and it was cool to watch all these hott chicks *get down* as they say. Yeah, you've seen video footage of clubs, music videos, etc.. where the girls are dancing and shakin' their ass and whatnot, well, this was it, and it was cool (damn, where's my camera when I need it.)

But, But. don't worry, at least I got some data for ya. Yeah, that's right. I had my Pocket PC with me, and I recorded some of the action. Download this MP3 files of just how kickass this party was:

Bored and Dreading Classes
Well, I'm bored. I didn't update yesterday, because nothing happened yesterday. Today is pretty boring, but I did attend another Microsoft WebCast this morning. It was titled: What Network Administrators Should Know About The Blaster Worm.

It was cool, I got some in-depth technical info reguarding the blaster worm. My friend Tara sent me an e-mail this morning, saying that she thinks she has a virus. So, I called her up, and talked to her for a bit. I might try to go over there sometime soon to see what I can do to fix it, and I'll patch and hotfix the system as well.

I'm probably going to go to South Alabama tomorrow to get my Student ID card, get a parking sticker for my car, and look into getting a job via Student Services.
