Champaign (Illinois) High School Class of 1956 sponsors a Net Cafe' as a place to gather and share addresses, memories, accomplishments and dreams.
This Web Site was the result of an idea Dave Geist had in 1999. He passed away April 1, 2001 but contributed a lot before his death. A page has been added to this site to help you keep in touch with old friends. Just CLICK ON THE MAILBOX at left and it will take you to our e-mail address page. We have listed only the Classes of 1949-1961 so far.

~~The CLASS of 1958~~
50th CLASS REUNION Friday, June 6th 7:00-10:00 p.m. - Casual get-together at the Elks Lodge in Savoy. Snacks will be served with a cash bar. (Don't forget-this is the night when you can invite your friends from other classes to join us.)
Sat. June 7th 10:00 a.m. - We will meet at our former high school at the Park St. entrance and take a guided tour of the building.
Sat. June 7th 5:30 p.m. - This is our special dinner celebration at the Champaign Country Club, 1211 S. Prospect. Reservations are needed. We will start with a social hour (cash bar) and our group picture will be taken at 6:00. At 6:30 they will serve our buffet style dinner and a program will follow.
Sun. June 8th 9:00 a.m. - Morning brunch at Ryan's Restaurant, 1004 W. Anthony Dr., C. You will pay for your own meal at the reataurant but, we need to know if you plan to attend.

This web site has been named for one of our favorite "hang-outs" that no longer exists. When we all attended CHS the in place to be and be seen was Lendales. We know it can never be replaced, but we hope this "Lendales" might be a meeting place for us on the net.
