Back Ground Information: I am from Cottonwood, Alabama born and raised! I have lived on the same street for all but 6 months of my 22 years on this earth. I was raised with small town morals and values and I feel that this will play a large part in my teaching career.

Philosophy: I have not yet determined my teaching philosophy, I do feel that I am a combination of many things. There are some aspects of direct instruction that I agreed with however, for the most part I do not feel that I will be a direct instruction teacher. I am a believer in hands on, minds on learning.
