HOW WE MET: Chris and I actually met after an Auburn football game Fall 2000 at a restaurant called "Good Ole Boys." We talked a little bit and I thought he was cute and a lot of fun to talk to, but I didn't really think anything aof it until about a month later I got an email from him saying that he would be coming home for Thanksgiving and he'd like to take me out to eat or something. Well, at the time not only was I seeing someone else, but I was also a little hesitate because I didn't know too much about him. (You're always hearing of freak stories and I didn't want to be "one of them"). So, about an hour before we were supposed to go out, I called him and told him I changed my mind. Needless to say, I didn't hear from him again until about three weeks later. For some reason I was curious to find out more about him, so I sent him an email. To my surprise, he responded back and after many late night chats, emails, and conversations, I found out that he and I both shared a lot of the same beliefs and goals for the future. I always said that the guy I would marry would pray over me every day and have a huge heart for God and I have been praying for that type of man since I was a little girl. Well, other than the fact that Chris forgot my name on our first date while introducing me to someone, the date could not have gone any better! He opened doors, prayed for the meal, and was a complete gentleman! I went and told everybody at work the next day that I had found the man I was going to marry!!
