This man who spoke with a gentle tone,
took his love and built a home.
This home was full of love and it was strong;
I knew that this was where I would always belong.
When I needed him, he was always there,
I was always sure of his love and of his care.
He stood by me until I kissed and I was gone

My precious daddy passed away on July 19, 2003. Incidentally my grandmother, his mother, was called home on the same date in 1988. What a homecoming celebration went on in heaven that July 19, 2003.
To day I still feel his love and warmth. I look at his picture and know he really didn't want to leave me but heaven made him a better offer. I thank God every day that he let me have my daddy for a little while; and he let me have such a good man who would guide my footsteps.
