Personality: Impulsive and unpredictable, J'styne is rash and has a tendency to rush into things without thinking. It's alright as far as he's concerned though, since Ulroth is always there to save him and/or his reputation. He's a friendly guy, the life of the party, and as charismatic as his bond, which makes up for the fact that he's not that attractive. He's polite and sort of focused on his tasks until something else catches his attention.
History: Jastynemor was born as the result of a mating flight between his green rider mother and his brown rider father. Like most of the other children in the weyr, he grew up in the Lower Caverns, and once he was able to take care of himself, the women left him to his own designs for the most part, especially since he was relatively healthy and didn't require special attention. Having two rider parents, Jastynemor quickly found that his favorite place was outside watching the dragonriders fly in and out of the weyrbowl. Like most young boys he often got into scraps, but he always had plenty of friends and was often the leader in schemes amongst the boys.
Being allowed to wander on his own allowed Jastynemor the chance to explore the beaches around the weyr. He had already found and Impressed two firelizards by the time he had twelve turns. Two turns later he found his third one. Shortly after he Impressed Renire, his mother was seriously injured in Threadfall. Although he wasn't necessarily close to his mother, Jastynemor still felt a need to help, but found he couldn't. So, in a very rash moment he decided to go to the healer hall to study and left within a sevenday.
Unfortunately, Jastynemor found that he wasn't really suited to the healing craft, but he still applied himself since he was already there. Still, he preferred participating and watching runner beast races with the local teens than studying. Luckily he was only there one turn before he was officially Searched.
When Jastynemor Impressed Ulroth, he was a bit dissapointed since he'd been hoping for a brown or bronze, but he has since learned to appreciate Ulroth and his personality. The dragon has saved him on many occasions when he's made a rash decision. Shortly after they learned to fly on their own, J'styne and Ulroth found their fourth little flit friend.
