Taco Soup

1 lb. Ground beef, cooked and rinsed (to get grease off)
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can black beans
1 can red kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix (dry)
1 pkg. Taco Seasoning
1 small onion, chopped

Add all ingredients, including juice from beans and corn. Cook in crockpot on low for 4-6 hours. Garnish with grated cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Serve with tortilla chips instead of crackers.

Mother's Annotations:
I leave out the onion for my family’s preference, since the onion wouldn’t cook thoroughly. I have also added extra packets of spice. There are other variations of Taco soup that use Rotel tomatoes and 2 pkgs. of each spice. You can also make a fat-free version using fat-free cheese and sour cream.
