Stranded on a Deserted Island?

So, we've all heard the scenario before. "If you were stranded on a deserted island what five CDs (or movies or books, etc) would you take with you?" You know, as if there's an endless supply of batteries and an iPod and a television and a DVD player with you. Whatever. We all like to know what piques peoples' interests. Here are my picks...My "Best Of," if you will. They are in no particular order. And if you can think of any other categories, let me know!

Current iPod Playlist Faves
"Somewhere Only We Know" - Keane
Jack Johnson's latest CD, the soundtrack to Curious George
"Don't Go Breaking My Heart" - Elton John & Kiki Dee
"You're the Love I Want to Be In" - Jason Aldean
"Banjo Boy" - Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband
And, of course, anything by The Corrs...

Current Reading List
Flyte by Angie Sage
Gideon, the Cutpurse by Linda Buckley-Archer
The Wright 3 by Blue Balliett
Gregor and the Marks of Secret by Suzanne Collins
and, of course, The Bible.

Novels
1. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
2. Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns.
3. A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks.
4. The Looking Glass by Richard Paul Evans.
5. Daddy Long Legs by Jean Webster.
Though, I have to give a shoutout to one non-fiction selection, Candyfreak by Steve Almond. Loved it so much I wanted to eat the pages. And don't get me started on how much I loved The Phantom Tollbooth and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and all its sequels. I was waaaaay too late in reading those, I admit it.

Movies
1. Back to the Future...just the first one so I don't take up three choices.
2. The Parent Trap...the original version.
3. Never Been Kissed...my favorite chick flick.
4. Serendipity...is John Cusack single?
5. Finding Nemo...because it rocks, and also my cousin worked on it.

Television Shows
1. Quantum Leap...yeah, that's pretty much it.
