Pre-Spring Break

These are random pix from before spring break but after this summer (I haven't gotten my summer pictures scanned yet, and there are a lot). Some are inanimate objects, but they're definitely (I spelled it right, Huck) a part of me.

Becky

This is Becky, a great oboist...she will eventually be named so by the International Double Reed Society. I met her at FSU's Double Reed Worshop. She's the only one I've really stayed in touch with, but she's in college now oooooooo.

My Mini Me

This is John a fourth grader at Mom's school. We are in no way related, but he looks creepily like me. Mssrs. Blevins and Jones refer to him as my mini me. Matthew says that doesn't look like me because I look so laid back. Don't I always look laid back?

Happy 16!

Mom got me this outfit for my birthday. Andrew took the picture which is why it's so rotten, LoL. Oh my gosh I didn't believe she plopped down the $44 for the pants, approx $27 for the shirt and $4 for the soccer boxers (you can't see them they're under the overpriced pants).

Officially from Me

Mom also got me a wax seal set for my birthday. It came with red and gold wax, but I used them all up by Christmas and have a navy color now. (Note for all y'all that suddenly want one: Guys use last initial; chicks use first.)

Meet Chris

This is Chris, a friend of Becky's, and Becky again. Somehow or another she decided Chris and I would get along and gave him my screen name. So now there are pix that she took. She sent them to me when she saw the other ones and said, "Those are terrible; use these." I had to crop and shrink them for detail, but they look pretty good. The whole one to the right is neat, but way too big!

Yonder Comes Them Mathews Boys

This is the three of us. Timothy is on the left, Andrew is on the right. Mom had over fifty reprints made of this and sent every one of them away.

Christmas Time!

Annie gave me this little man for Christmas along with one playing the trombone. I'll have to get the trombone man off the hard drive at home since I deleted him from my disk. She also got me lots of CS Lewis books >large smile<.

OOO. Don't I Look European?

LoL, these are what most assistant referees (ARs) in Europe's professional leagues use. They were used at WC02 in Korea/Japan! I got them as a birthday present around Christmas because Mom can't e-shop to get me the jersey I wanted...they stopped making it by the time I helped her. (And ignore my moccasins in the bottom of the picture. )

For Aunt Olinda

We made this when we were yay high >lays flat hand at waist level<. It's made of mud from the creek at Live Oak Landing, our favorite swimming place in Vernon. When they moved I don't know where it went, but it was in a bathroom on our last trip to I took a picture. Note the copyright symbol...that was my doing.
