Important Information

• Ad Rates: Basic prices for Open Rate are: Newspapers only - $5.75 a column inch; Geneva County Shopper - $6.75 per column inch; All three newspapers and shopper - $8.75 per column inch. Call Rich or Thomas at 684-2280 for more information and discounts.
• Classifieds: $6 per week up to 20 words and 10 cents per word for each word over 20. Reader ads payable in advance of publication. Deadline Friday 3 p.m.
• Legals: $5.75 per column inch. Deadline 5 p.m. Thursday
• Subscriptions: $22 a year in-county; $14 for six months in-county; $27 a year other counties in Alabama; $32 a year out of state. Please make checks or money orders payable to Geneva Publishing Co., Inc. and specify if you want the Geneva County Reaper, Hartford News-Herald or Samson Ledger
• Submitting articles: We gladly accept articles via snail mail, e-mail or fax. However, if you send an article by e-mail please send it straight text, not as an attachment. We especially cannot take anything in Microsoft Word. We can accept photos as attachments. Deadline noon Thursday.
• Our drop off points are Hartford Florists and Gifts next to City Hall in Hartford and City Hall in Samson.
