I purchased this car in 1997 for $950.00 near Boaz, Alabama. The nova came
with a 305ci engine with a dead piston and a TH350 transmission that would not go
into any gear. Not to mention a hole in the rear floor board that you could crawl
through. In 4 years time my self and 3 of my greatest friends (and trust me any one
who will help you restore an old car is a great friend) have restored 70% of the
interior, installed a 700R4 overdrive trans. with a 3.08 rear axle, and replaced all the
front suspension and added disc brakes. We have also put in new floor pans and are
in the process of building a 400hp/350ci engine. Hopefully I will have this car on the
road by Jan. 2002 Wish me luck.
I bought this car in 1998 for $700.00 in Boaz, Alabama and drove it home the same
day This car came with a 350c.i. engine with a TH350 transmission. It also came
factory with A/C and power steering. All in all the car is in good shape with only
minor rust and a few dings in the body and bumpers.
I bought this truck in 1999. I found the truck in Crossville, Alabama and paid $450.00
for it as is. The truck came with a 307c.i. engine and a TH350 transmission. As my luck
would have it the transmission would not go into gear. So me and my three amigos put
a new TH350 transmission. We also added new brakes including brake pads, brake
cylinders, and a master cylinder and for good measure we added a new cap, spark
plugs, and wires. Unfortunately the truck is not running but it does look good setting
behind my best friends house.
I got this car in 2000 on the back side of Huntsville, Alabama for the low-low price
of a $150.00 good deal. The car did not come with a engine or transmission and all
the glass is in the truck. This is no problem for as you can see I have a 70' 4-door
parts car in the back wearing a light green paint job with a golf cart roof on the hood.
With the two cars combined I should have a nice 70' Impala one day.
