My name is Bantam Skie, I am the captain of the pirate ship Darkhorse. It is a ship handed down through countless generations of my family, a ship which has weathered the seas of time and continues to hold under my feet. For centuries my family has been associated with blood, a disgrace I bear, but attempt to shift. I do not walk the bloody footsteps of my ancestry, I walk a path forged by the one item I was given upon my father's death...The Griffin's Mane.
I had inteded to be the last of the Skie bloodline, but a daughter provides my ancestry to continue to live, and with all my will I am trying to shift the thoughts of who a Skie is. I am not heartless, nor am I cruel, I am on a mission which requires me to set sail on the high seas, I am only a pirate in the sense that my ship is my only home.
