Hiya everyone,
I would like to introduce my car. He is my daily driver for almost 5 years now and I love him very very much. I love every detail of it. The W123 sedans were, and still are, very popular over here. Solid construction, incomparable fit and finish, constructed of high grade materials, and does not exhibit any signs of aging that would normally be expected of a 20 year old car.
The interior is very comfortable, seats firm, but well sprung. There is ample space for four adults, and the trunk is very spacious. Windows are large and allow for maximum viewing pleasure from inside the car. The design of the dash is quite striking, with its round air vents, timeless clean lines, and ergonomics lending to a very simple, elegant, uncluttered, open view through the windshield.
In short, a perfect transportation, a blend of classic and modern car. He never gives me any trouble.
OVERVIEW
Metallic Silver Blue with Blue MB-Tex; Powered by the legendary M102 1998cc 4-cyl coupled with a 4-speed manual.
SPECIFICATION
Illuminated sun visors (vanity mirrors on the visors have lights).
A/C in full working order; re-gassed a couple of years ago.
Original Blaupunkt Radio Cassette. Two speakers in the front and two in the rear; In full working order.
Tinted & electric windows all round. All in working order
Front arm rest, Rear Split folding seat, & 5 Mercedes-Benz Alloy wheels.
Original MB Tool Kit - roll complete and unused, First Aid Kit unused, Hazard Warning Triangle, Fire Extinguisher (unused and probably unusable).
Interior Seat Fabric is MB-Tex. Some people do not rate this but its advantage is that it does not stain or tear like velour or crack like leather. So all the seats are in perfect condition
Power Assisted Steering & Vacuum Central Locking – In good working order with 2-keys.
MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL CONDITION
Faultless to drive. No nasty engine or gearbox noise and no smoking. No leaks. Starts first time warm or cold. Runs on unleaded petrol. Oil pressure up at 3. Apart from the minor electrical faults above everything else is in good working order.
INTERIOR CONDITION
Very good condition. All switches, knobs, and handles are present including magazine nets on rear of front seats and two rear headrests. Original carpets are in good condition, and all seats intact unstained and comfortable. Rear inertia seatbelts and central lap belt in working order.
