My 1982 300CD-T (turbodiesel). Most likely one of the first turbo coupes, its VIN ends in 000351. I bought the car from NY in May 1st, 2003 on Ebay for $3150, which included a 1983 300CD, both cars working, running vehicles. Both were stock at the time.

Modifications to mine include...

Interior: repl speedometer, repl acc pushbutton assembly, replace 1 climate switchover valve and center vent actuator (dash removed), repl fuel sending unit, repl drivers door release handle, repl headlight switch, repair console window switches, repair drivers seat frame, add MB floormats, add sheepskin seatcovers, install alpine head unit + alpine cd changer in glove box, install amp on hat shelf, install wiring for amp.

Engine/Underbody adjust valves (every 10k), various oil changes, repl thermostat, flush cooling system, repl wastegate boost line, add cold air intake kit, remove boost regulator valve, adjust injection pump delivery mixture, repl master cylinder, repl front calipers, repl front brake hoses, repl front rotors and pads, flush brake system, repair/repl vacuum system lines, repl oil cooler, repl feed line from filter housing to cooler, repl battery, repl fuel filters, repl air filter, repl a/c pressure sensor, repair wiring to a/c compressor, charge a/c system (R12 baby!), repl glow plugs, wash engine, sandblast and clearcoat battery tray, seal/treat rusthole under battery tray to interior, repl caster bushings, repl camber bushings, repl tie-rods, sandblast and clearcoat spring plates, remove #4 spacers, install #1 spacers on springs, cut 1 link from front springs, replace exhaust rings, replace center muffler (resonator), remove transmission- replace all seals and replace all clutches as well as the b2 drum and brake band and remove rear pump gears.

I think I may have spent more than the car is worth, you think? :)
