I’m Martin Durruty and I live in Santiago Chile . I’m a car enthusiast and have a Chevy Belair 1956, since 1987. (I was 14 teen at that time, when my father bought it for me).Now, that I have mature I got into Mercedes Benz.
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a 1984 280CE. (w123) This is a Euro model, as we only got the Euro versions in Chile .
The car is in great shape, and is pretty well equipped, but there are some items that need to be checked and some parts needed to be bought in order to have it really ok.
I was looking forward for your help in order to recommend me a place where I can buy parts for this car.
For the Chevy there is a big industry and a lot of support, but I do not know where the same is for this Benz.
Also I want to be part of a club and received a magazine every month, just as I do with the Chevy, as I’m member of Eckler’s Classic Chevy, but I do not know where to start with the Benz.
I was checking the internet and came across you web page, so I decided to write you this e-mail for some help.
In the file attach are some pictures of my car, those where taken today, at my office parking. The car has being there for a week, so is covered with dust and the light is not goods. The car is much prettier at day light!!!!.
I will take some new pictures soon and send them to you, because I will be very glad if you post them on your web page.
Any way, I hope this email does not bother you and I hope you can assist me in my toy.
