New ASCA and AHBA Stockdog Judge
SEASC member Roger Stevens was recently approved as an ASCA and an AHBA stockdog judge. Roger has competed in ASCA events since 1992, when he and Bear entered the first ASCA trial they had ever seen. After earning a qualifying score on cattle Roger was hooked and training and trialing have been an important part of his life ever since. The changing lifestyles of modern times have greatly reduced the numbers of farmers and ranchers across the country. Roger is one of the few ASCA competitors and judges fortunate enough to actually operate a working farm and use Australian Shepherds to work their stock.
