Song of Dreams
The sun rises over the horizon and spreads light amongst the trees
The dawning of a new day full of promise
Suddenly ended now takes from the sorrow of a child's tear
Tears streaming down the cheeks, and weep into the child's pillow
His heart is full of sorrow for a lifetime of dreams unrealized
Reality replaced his dreams, when his song ran out of verse
The music has ended, and shall be forgotten
But with the coming of each new day is the chance to begin
Someday....the music will play....the fear will go away....and SHE will be near....music she will bring....and a song she will sing....
He will wipe away his tears and overcome his fears, his dreams will resurface as reality, dreams which were forgotten with the music
He will awake one day and look to the Sun....and smile knowing that his time to be happy has finally arrived as he looks to his side and finds her
Her beauty, dwarfs that of birth, her soul pure....How? can she be
She is that way for him, to be all that she can and to ease his pain and all his suffering
She brings to him joy....she eases his pain....he brings her love
Alas....he awakes....a dream....reality....is death
