On Saturday, May 23, Apostle Robert L. Redding, Sr. celebrated his 70th birthday. This glorious occasion was spearheaded by his children: Robert, Ronneane, and Paul. The theme was “The Best is Yet to Come.” To start off the evening, we had a delicious dinner.
After dinner, we started the program. The Reunion Choir opened with two selections: Triumph is Calling You, and Pray For Me. Although the choir didn’t sing all of the songs they rehearsal, Paul and Ronneane sung some of there dad's favorite songs: I went away, Running for Eternal Life, Take a Flight, Step by Step, Brighter Day, and Mountain Top. Another session of the program was called open mic. Open mic gave the audience a chance to express there love and appreciation to him.
Apostle Redding said, “he is thankful to God to live and see his 70th birthday, and would also like to thank all of who sent an email, phone call, and card.”
