Part 1 History of the Ground

Manchester United was found at 1878 (and the name was called Newton Heath) at Bank Street Clayton on East Manchester (now the site is a Cycling Centre) at that time they had two home ground but this site is their second ground, the first ground was on North Road (now the site is a school), but just after their first League season at 1892-93 the landlord tell them they won’t be allow stay at there unless they charge the entrance fee at that time they refuges to do it so at 1894 they move to the new ground from mile away south on bank Street(that site will be home of Manchester City F.C at the year 2003). Later the move again this time is at OLD TRAFFORD on February 19th 1910 the first team to visit is Liverpool and lost 4-3. At 1974-75 season they relegation from D1 to D2 are year later they come back to D1 (now is called Premier League) At 1996 United has lost their 40 years unbeaten in European football record at home they lost 1:0 to Turkey side can’t remember which one

Sir Matt Busby

In Manchester United there have two great manage the first is Sir Matt Busby because he come back form the air crush and rebuild the square and win the European Champions Cup at 1968(now is called Champions League) and win the F.A Cup.

Sir Alex Ferguson

The second is Sir Alex Ferguson who is replacement for Ron Atkinson but he not good at that time because the team from second place fall to 11 place then at the Manchester ‘Derby’ they lost 5-0 to Man City at that time many support want him out of his office.
