Hello all. Nice to meet ya, I'm Laura, 22, from Alabama. I WANT TO BE FAMOUS! Umm... hey, a girls gotta try :) -Anyway,ABOUT ME I love to go out with friends and act silly. Love dancing at clubs, watching movies, and eating out. I always like to be doing something... even if it is simply just driving around and listening to music. Job-wise = I work at a local hotel, front desk clerk. Great people and hours. MY HOME This year I moved back to a small community called Battleground . I've moved back home to live with my mom Anne and my stepdad Allen. I'm staying here till I can get another place. They are really great people and I love them alot. I'm gonna try to get a place locally. Living closer would be sooo much better. I just moved from Decatur (about 30 to 40 miles from where I am now). The town I'm in now is a bit boring sometimes, but it's nice-I guess. DRY COUNTY - but enough about that. PETS This is their crazy dog (my homegirl/dog) named Taffy . THE FAMILY My mom is on of my best friends in the whole world. (thats me and my mom in the pic). Allen is a close second place. About mom Mom has just finished writing her first book about conures. Contract is signed-just waiting for the hard copy. You can pick one up in all book stores, pet stores, etc. We are all proud of her accomplishment! This has been one of her life long dreams. *Now on to my Dad* Allen is a bluegrass musician. Banjo, guitar, and mandolin are his main instruments. He is also a great vocalist. He is currently with Nancy Moore & Nashville Highway. Allen also has a new independent cd "Battleground" he just recently released. It was ranked #7 in the top 10 of the Chicago Tribunes - Bluegrass cds of 2000. They are cool and all and I love them .... but hey :) Now back to ME. I've now added my new poetry page. High five the paw to check it out!

I have a few from the paper..I was in Romeo and Juliet at college during the summer of 2000. It was lots of fun. But ya, all these pics are at least a year old. I'll get some new ones on soon.
