Hi! I'm Sady. I'm a 30 year old sahm to 3 DDs (ages 8, 3 and 1). I have a wonderful DH which I will celebrate my 4th wedding anniversary with on Oct 26th.
I enjoy going to craft shows (as a buyer...I'm afraid I'm not to "crafty"), time with my family and I love anything with teddy bears! I've been coming to the KT for a couple of month now and everyday I am still amazed at the wonderful, caring people here! It's like one big, happy family that I am proud to be a part of!!

Hi! I'm Sally, from Mi. 42yrs., married 7 mos.(not the first), 3 teenage stepdaughters! We live on a farm, 127 acres, rent out most of the land. Lots of small farm animals,chickens,ducks,geese,goat named Sadie,2 Boarder Collies,and kitties.DH is a puter nerd, builds them for side job, we now have 2 online, but it's tough for me to get him off of them. I work at a small town grocery store, DH works for Lifesavers. Antiquing, mostly dishes, gardening, cooking, and animals, are my interests. I'm addicted to the KT, for about 2 months now. Hi.I am Sandie in Orlando.I haven't posted much lately,but try to check in most days.I am a SAHG.I have been married for 37 years.I have a Lhasa named Sandy,a black cat named Sassy.THree cockatiels,two parakeets,three aquariums.I am currently bird sitting two cockatiels.I have three married children.Seven grandchildren.I have one daughter living in Titusville,the Space Center,another about to move there,and my son is moving to Missouri and taking three of my GKS.That is hard for me,but I am currently taking care of my diabetic Dad and today is the last day of school so I will be watching two GKs for the summer,and hopefully that will keep me so busy that I won't be missing my DS so much.My only hobby at the moment is trying to keep up with my family and my Cyber Families.

mikifan (major disney junkie). 2 DD's 13 & almost 12...we live on a small farm (5 acres)
oldest DD has pygmy goats & rabbits out in the barn..we have a Golden & for the next
couple weeks Leslee's dog living with us, one cat, ginnea pig, cockateil, turtle &
fish...love to garden...or I should say weed since that's all I have been doing lately! Love
to swim too..WOOHOO..the pool is open & the temp is perfect!! Baseball junkies..DH
coaches both the girls teams so we have games about 4 nights a week now..makes the
summer fly right by!

Hi everyone! I live smack dab in central IA, we have been here for 17 yrs, originally from

We also have a mixed mutt named Bandit who is a complete spazz and 2 cats Licorice and Shadow who are also spazzes. I'm a hairstylist by trade and I also work in a milk store which I love as much as I do being a hairstylist. I don't get much spare time but when I do I'm either: reading, doing as many crats as I can, playing with DS or depending on the weather play baseball. I have two grown daughters from my first marriage and they are the apples of my eye along with my 3 perfect grandchildren 2 boys and 1 girl. I also lucked out and have two great son-in-laws. shannon Unless I missed something I think I am the only Kansan here so far. I just turned 31 last month. I will be married 11 years this January. We have 2 kids. DD is 8 and DS is 3. I work in the summers part-time at a camp in our area, and fill in during the winter when someone needs a day off. I am in the Jaycees and Treasurer of our PTO, so that seems to fill most of my day running around for those things. Of course there are the school outings and after school activities.etc...I don't post much, but love to stop and read. And since you can't hear me speak (and to irritate my sister) I need to go and get the 'warsh' done so we have something to wear tomorrow.

Hi all. I am Sharon, 46yo, married for 2 years, this time, to my DH, Mike (sometimes he
posts here also), who is a tech coordinator for a telephone company's internet provider.
Phew! I am a clinic manager for 2 hospital owned clinics, one a family practice and the
other is for specialist to come to our rural community. I was a Paramedic on an ambulance
service and worked in the ER for almost 18yrs until I got too tired of the heavy, stressful
work. Between the two of us, we have 4 children, my two oldest are, DD 27yo married,
DS is 24 and is the town's ladykiller, lol, or so he thinks, hubby's (and we are raising them)
DD 13yo, DS 10yo. A grandson and granddaughter. My pride and joy!
We have 6 kitties, 1 dog and a 55 gallon aquarium full of fish. I like to play on the
computer, work around in my yard and watch movies. I collect nautical things and love
lighthouses. Hubby and I want to move to a coast because we both love the ocean so
much. We are both working on paying off all our bills so we will be able to move there one
day.
I am a dabbler in all crafts and activities. In other words, I do things as they strike me. lol
I have been at the KT for hmmmm...I don't know, but I spend way too much time here. I
love it here. Like my own batch of girlfriends to gripe about hubby's and kids with. Lol
Sharon Had to join in, glad to meet you all! I'm 54, married 2 1/2 years ago to 2nd DH. Live in WNY most of my life. I have 2 sons, 1 daughter, he has 1 of each, no GC. We have a Westie which is our child and his 2 German Shepards from before marriage, also a shy persian. I love to gardening, decorate, auctions, etc., DH built me a pond this year, love that. DH retireing next year, has no hobbies so I guess I'll keep on working (secretary) and playing on puter( I'm at work) to keep things sane.

yrs old, and my DH is a retired Navy fighter jet pilot.
I have 3 married kids-39,38 & 32...and 3 grandsons.I love yard sales, home decorating,
traveling, 1 arm bandits, antique shops, jigsaw puzzles and 'Sex in the City'!!
Had weight loss surgery in May of 2000 and as of yesterday-have lost 182 pounds!!! See
why I'm on the road? More energy, and enjoying life once again!!!

I'm Sharon, live near Windsor, Ontario (across from Detroit, Mich), have 2 kids - Josh -
almost 17 and Tanya who is 14. I've worked full time for 24 yrs. now at our local
newspaper, have been married almost 21 years.
I like to read although lately with trying to squeeze computer time in my reading has been
limited to reading the Reader's Digest! I have been doing stained glass now for almsot 2

I guess I'm a newbie. I've been lurking for a few months and finally started putting in my 2 cents worth a while ago. (Ofcourse, being Canadian, I guess I really should be throwing in a nickel.)LOL My name is Sheila, I just turned 48, and am currently 'retired' because we moved to a 10 acre property complete with a handiman's nightmare house, last year. My DH and I have been married almost 28 years and we have the millonaire's family--a son, 25 and a daughter, 23. Both are university graduates and are currently working in their chosen fields and ARE NOT LIVING AT HOME. Thank goodness. My DH is self employed and usually works in the US. He commutes weekly, which gives me a lot of time to fill. I enjoy counted cross stitch (that is how I found THS), knitting, crochet, reading, skiing--downhill, biking and am relearning the joys of country living. (If anyone can figure out what they are, please email me!!) We have four furbaby purrpusses--Ginger, Alice, Chester, and Harry. They are MY darlings--the DH swears he would rather have a dog. Yep, sure I believe him, especially as I see him moving over in bed so that the CATS have more room. LOL The KT has become a very important part of my day.

I also have my parents living downstairs in an apartment and my mother-in-law who lives
with my husband and I. My parents own two dogs (Snuggles and Tiny) and my
mother-in-law has one dog (Teddy). Good thing the dogs are small except for mine (she

Brianna...where did you live at in PA...I live near Johnstown......our shelter is called Four Footed Friends..we just take in stray and abused cats and dogs and get them read for adoption. Good for you Brianna...those shelters can always use good volunteers.

Since the other Tennessee people are introducing themselves, I thought I would too! I am in Nashville, the capital of Tennessee. I found THS and the KT about a year ago, and have been lurking/occasional posting every since. I check this forum everyday! I am 32, divorced, with no children, and have one cat. I work in Marketing for a financial services company, and travel quite a bit. When I am not on the road, I work out of my home, so that gives me some time to check in here! SHHHHH.... I love cooking, reading, decorating, gardening and surfing the net! I have a great boyfriend, who travels all the time with his job as well, so we try to do special, fun things on the weekends when we are together, go to b&b's, eat at great restaurants, etc. Nice to meet everyone!
Sparky-SD I am 26 and live in eastern South Dakota. I have been married to DH 2 months. I have one DS of 8 yrs and one DS-S of 7 yrs. I work full time as a Support Specialist for a POS retailer. My hobbies are pretty much everything; however, I don't seem to have enough time to do any of them. Since discovering the KT, I would have to say that this is my favorite hobby. Other favorites include: cooking, crafts, snowmobiling in the winter, and socializing.

I love frogs...have a big collection of them...and also porcelian dolls.
My goal when I grow up is to be able to work in peoples yards for them plant there flowers
and build them ponds..have had people asked me to start up a business like that but right
now not finacially able to......but maybe one day

Steve-FL --I thought I had posted here when I first came out from "behind the wall" but I can not find it (maybe I did it in my dreams). So I guess I will do it again...(please try and stay awake during this posting).... Age--something greater than what a fine wine should be, more on the line of vinegar (See Birthday list). Married--yes, DW has put up with me for almost 17 years (I must be better than 57 Chevy) Children -- yes, well actually two "little giants". Son#1 is 6' 205lbs. age 15 shoe size 14, Son#2 is 5'10' 185lbs age 14 shoe size 13.5 (Typing this I now realize why there is no food in this house)LOL Retired from the military (U.S. Navy) after serving for 26+ years. Presently work with MrsC. writing/updating military techincal manuals. (offical title -Techincal Manual Developer Subject Matter Expert---yea right). have been living here for about a year. I have been busy putting in all of my flowers that I
brought from my old home and stored over at my mom's veggie garden.

Hi all! I am 33 years old and have been married for 12 years next week! DH and I have four great kids - 2 boys and 2 girls (ages 11, 9, 7, and 5). As the name says, I am Sue, living in a suburb of Chicago since I was 2 and the family
moved from Wisconsin. I will be married 15 years this June, and have 2 wonderful
children that keep me running!! In addition to carpooling to baseball and soccer games, I
work full time as an accountant. We have a 90 year old house that is very sturdy but hasn't
been decorated in at least 50 years, so room by room we are getting through it. I have been
hanging around the KT for a few years now, and while I don't post often, I am out there

Another sue. in Illinois - right between Chicago and Milwaukee - transplanted here from NJ 3 years ago. Love the area - really clean compared to the East coast. We have 3 daughters - 21, 20 and 16. Only the 16 is still at home - she keeps me very busy! Also have 1 very spoiled pooch - she gets her own happy meals! I love to craft - wood and x-stitch, and whatever peaks my interest. Love this place - been plurking from the beginning!

Hi All, I have been coming here for almost a year, but haven't posted much. I am 64 and will be 65 in Feb. Have a husband that I have been married to in a few days for 46 years. Have 3 daughters, ages 42, 41, and 23. We also have a son that is 37. We still have the youngest daughter at home and she and I work selling on eBay and have for a few years. We did own an antique mall but no longer have that. Have always been a home maker except for the years we had the antique mall, which was around 10 years. We live in the country on about 6 acres, in mostly woods. We remodeled an old building on our property that we were told used to be an old dairy. We fixed it up into the cutest house and our youngest daughter's boyfriend of several years lives there. This summer they built a large storage shed out near the house out back, which we have always called "The Club House". We called it that because when our son was a teenager he used to stay out there and that is what he called it. I like to sew, read, veg. garden, embroider and do a lot of canning. Love pets. Daughter has 3 dogs and a cat and a ferret. I have one old dog, 16 years old. Have had him since he was 5 weeks old.

I answered this a long time ago but here goes again. I am divorced, 43 years young and just moved in our family home after a remodel project that took 5 years to complete the inside. I moved in with my handicapped mother whom I have been caretaker for 5 years and my brother and his pregnant girlfriend! I am a human resource manager for children services and I have worked approximately 25 years in the restaurant business before getting this job a year ago. I have been on the KT for over a year and half.....this year everyone in our family has moved...sis from LA back to Ohio and my time has not been spent on the KT as much I would like to have been. With the holidays coming up and I am still in boxes (I just moved two weeks ago) I will probably only have time to read and not to post! I do try to read about everyday and I love the KT!!!
SueH - I live in Portland, OR with my 18 year old son who just graduated from high school, my dh, and my stepson who is almost 13. I also have a grown daughter who is 20 and away at college. I've only been visiting the kt for a few months, but I just love it and I don't plan on going anywhere else!!! I'm 43 years old and looking forward to figuring out what I'm going to do with the rest of my life now that my kids are basically all grown up!!! My dh and I are realtors (I work as his assistant) which allows us lots of free time since we are able to work mostly from home...but mostly I consider myself a homemaker!

I seem to see humor where some folks don't, so I don't reply to some posts, because it is too easy to get jumped on! *S* Enjoy reading a variety of opinions on some topics. I am an oldie age-wise. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Widowed for 17 years after a 38 year marriage. Mother, Grandmother and Greatgrandmother. Have a cat that actually understands a few words. Arthritis has slowed me down. Some of my favorite pastimes are my pc, water therapy 4 mornings a week, and my weekly Senior writing group. Enuff.....

career and can't figure out how I ever had time to work. Married to a swell fella. Have 2
step children whom I adore. I love gardening, traveling, reading, decorating, animals and of
course, the KT. It's so good to meet everyone.

I'm Sunny Christensen, born in l941. Married, 5 kids and 3 step-kids, 30 grands, 2
great-grands. I've lived in So. Utah for 35 years and also have a home in central Kansas. I
worked in finance and investments for a national bank for many years. Went to nursing
school at age 45. Retired now, have a yorkie and a shih-tzu. I'm a rabid Hal Ketchum fan.
I have a stained glass shop, do glass for fun and profit, mostly fun ;oD. Our retirement
'job' is halter show horses.

I live in Canton, OH..I'm married to a Wonderful man named Doug..We have a Terrific Son named Bob, who lives in LaCrescenta,CA!! I was a Receptionist and Switchboard Operator for 11 years..Due to illiness in my family,I have taken care of my Mom who had a major stroke for almost 2 yrs..When that happened,DH and I moved in to my Mom's house and cared for her until she passed away in July of 1994! We now take care of my Aunt Dora,she is by herself now & on a Walker.They never were able to have children,so the responsibility is mine..God has given me and my DH alot of strength to be able to take care of my Mom and now my Aunt..It's very hard at times!! I love to do Crafts when I have time,but Puter is taking more and more of my time..LOL!! DH & I spend alot of time in our yard in the summer..Our passion is Ponds,we have 4 small ones that he did all the digging and I done all the Landscaping!They sooth our nerves & we love the sound of running water and all the little fish! Been at the KT since January 2000~

Hi my name is Suzy (please don't get me confused with that "other suzy" that seems to cause trouble here. I am 35 years old and a single mom on one darling 11 year old. I am very independant, but some people think I am stubborn - but I'm not really!!! I do payroll and employee benefits for a company and manufactures and repairs large engines. The company has locations nation wide. I love to read, watch movies, have fun with my son, and of course quilt. I found this place by accident one day surfing the net, saved it to my bookmark and have been here ever since.
