Seven years I’ve waited to see you again wondering how

I would react to hearing your voice again

I sat and pondered knowing the chance would be great

To be close to you again no one could relate

For you were my love, my heart, and my soul and

No matter what happens I would always love you

For I have waited to know if the feelings would return or

Would I just be nothing in your arms

So I took the chance I had to know would the past

Let me free this I had to know

I walked in the door nervous as can be

as a scent was right in front of me

I saw you walk towards me as my knees got weak

I said hello to you and the feeling struck deep

I went to go sit down for she took my breath and memories

Ran trough my head of the forgotten past

So I took several deep breaths to get my head on strait

Walked out the door and seen the child of my dreams

I talked with her and met her new family for once I had relief

For time has been good to her and we made no mistake

For her new baby daughter looked strait at me and I thought

To my self this is the way it was meant to be.
