A Tribute to My favorite President of the United States

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States. Despite his polio that he developed in adulthood, FDR helped pull America out of the Great Depression and lead the country to victory over Japan and Germany as an Allied Power in World War II. The President did not want to see another war happen between the countries of the world so he used his charasmatic and marvelous leadership skills to build the United Nations. The United Nations was formed to help keep peace among the countries of the war and is still an organization of over 100 countries strong. Franklin Roosevelt died in 1945 and never saw the beginnings of his brilliant idea. However, his equally marvoulous wife Eleanor carried on his dream of creating a world organization to keep peace among the nations of the world.
