COSMOS IN THE HOUSE
June 26th to July 22nd 2000


To kick off my extremely full and exciting summer I went to this fabulous MATH and SCIENCE High School Program at the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SANTA CRUZ! Can we say Gor-geous!?! I met some extremely awesome people who are pictured below (and many other beautiful souls!) and got to learn more about the ocean and the stars!!!! Here are some of the people I met and some of the things I did!

WE DIDN'T ONLY DO MATH AND SCIENCE STUFF... THERE WAS ROOM FOR FUN. I LISTED THE PLACES WE WENT!

  1. Santa Cruz Boardwalk- July 1st I've never played so many arcade games in my life!
  2. Six Flags Marine World- July 4th Ummm... ya know fights wouldn't happen at Disneyland. Good thing no one got into it from COSMOS!
  3. Kayaking and Boating in Elkhorn Slough- July 8th and 9th I think I should've visited the gym before doing this. Oh well, it was Sooo cool to see so many rafts of Sea Otters!
  4. Shakespeare Santa Cruz Love's Labor's Lost- July 13th I would've enjoyed it more had I sat w/ two certain boys that like this stuff like I do!
  5. The San Jose Tech Museum- July 14th Interesting! I loved being surrounded by dolphins and staying warm and dry!
  6. Upward Bound hosted Dance at the Kresge Town Hall.- July 15th Ahem... This dance had to be one of the best ones I ever went to... and a certain male knows why ;)!
  7. Open Mic Night!- July 16th A BIG THANK YOU to Jeremy for getting me up there to do my Shakespeare! I hope you all liked it cause I had fun!
  8. Seymour Discovery Center and Long Marine Labs- July 21st I have never had so much fun w/ two guys before and a couple of dolphins and some other niffty animals that live in the ocean!!!
