Chibi-Usa is short for Usagi. In the Anime series, she's called Reeny for short. In Sailor Moon R, she goes back into the past to find the Silver Moon Crystal to try and save Crystal Tokyo and her mother. At the end, she goes back to the future to begin her training to be one of the Senshi of the future.
She and Usagi/Serena are constantly argueing.. but that's only because they love each other dearly. In Sailor Moon SS, you can tell that by the way that they react to each other when ChibiMoon first appears in the hand of the Black Witch. (You'll see) That really touched me. ChibiUsa is so sweet and innocent, she just bursts with her sugar energy.
In Sailor Moon SS, she plays a major role.. she's the human that Peruru contacts and trusts.. even cares for. He and Sailor Moon had to go and fight the witch to save Chibi Moon's life. At the very end of the movie, she gives him a little kiss on the cheek that would make everyone go 'Awwwwwwww.'
In the Sailor Moon S, she befriends Helios(Elios), the pegasus, who she helps at the very end. She and he fall in love with each other. (This was what I have heard. Please tell me if I'm wrong :>"
