Making your own Wax

Making your own wax is pretty easy all you have to do is think about how you want your wax to work. Be thick and hard or soft and smooth. Personally I think soft wax works better than hard but only in some places. There are many different recipes for wax here is a good one that could help you make some great curbs.

Making it on the stove:Get out a pot and fill it up with water. Heat the water to high or medium high. Then put a tin on the top of the water. Spray the tin with pam so the wax won't stick t the tin after! Then take some pariffan wax. You can get that at any supermarket for very cheap and break a piece off and set it in the tin. Next if you want to you can also put in a diffrent kind of wax like slam, curb cream, sex wax, or any other wax. If you want to add some food coloring or a crayon to make it all pretty. Also to make it real slick add some crisco oil and it will slide better. Then let the wax melt into the mold. Remove the wax with some tongs or gloves or anything to make it safe and put it in the freezer for awhile. Then pull it out and you have a pretty nice bar of homemade wax

Putting on The Wax: Take the great wax you have just made and had to a curb or rail. On tyhe curb put a very thick layer of wax on. Make sure to get the top and side not just the corner. On the top get about 3 inches and rub it in with your soul of the skate. Also on the side make sure to wax down about 2 inches so the frame will slide. Thats about all you have to do so skate hard and have fun.
