OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) provides the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) or their beneficiaries the opportunity to acquire vocational/technical or specialized skills through the Skills-for-Employment Scholarship Program or SESP. The program provides free tuition fee and allowance for the trainees.
REQUIREMENTS (present original and two photocopies):
- 2 1x1 ID Pictures
- any of the following: Report Card, High School/College Doploma, Transcript of Records
- OFW's passport (for landbased) or Seaman's Book (for sea-based)- pages 1 and 2
- Travel Exit Pass (TEP) or LAC-stamp certification for OFWs who worked abroad before 1990, or Overseas Employment Certificate/Info Sheet, BMAC Form, OWWA ID, or EDP Record (OWWA-6th flr)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR DEPENDENTS:
- Marriage certificate if applicant is OFW's spouse
- Birth Certificate/Affidavit of Birth with LCR No. if applicant is child/parent of OFW. Attach Baptismal Certificate if Birth Certificate has no LCR No.

After you complete the courses, you are subject to an On-The-Job Training at OWWA (maximum of 200 hours), plus a free print-out of your resume, hands-on training for all computer courses, and free internet access during the training period!!! San ka pa?! Habang walang ginagawa nagyong summer, mag-SESP ka na lang! Free of charge, matututo ka na, may allowance ka pa!!!
