Chapter Four: Blind Hatred

The battle began. The Nomads versus the Edenians. Both sides were losing men, and fast. The Nomads at first had the upper hand. But with their technological advantage, the Edenians quickly were able to have a fair fight.

Arch began battling several Nomads at once, and ended their lives ever so fast, and clean. Arch knew none of them were Baraka, since he fought harder and more furiously. Milenna had no problem fighting any of the Edenians. None of them proved any of a challenge. She tricked several low class fighters onto a ledge on a cliff, and blew them away with her sai blasts. One was able to jump off before it hit, and bounced off a wall, and was able to wrestle Milenna to the ground. “Nice tits for a clone.” The fighter said. He pinned her legs with his, instantly breaking one of them. An ear-piercing scream came from Milenna.

One Nomad saw this, and quickly ran up the cliff.

“There you are!” Arch yelled, his Frag Slugs coming out of his mechanic arm.

He fired, blasting the Nomad in several parts of his body. His shroud flug back. He ripped the rest of it off, and looked between the man with Milenna and Arch. He knew she was in danger, but if he was left unguarded, Arch wouldn’t have any mercy. He jumped back down the cliff, both arms directly aimed at Arch. He swiped, and to no avail, Arch sidestepped his attack. Arch aimed once more...

The sound of whistling bullets were heard. Baraka roared in agony as each bullet found their way into his back.

“Next, I’ll shoot into your ass!” Arch yelled, making his way toward Baraka. “So I can rip you a new one!” Arch said, kicking Baraka in the back, where he was injured.

The fighter left Milenna where she was, and went toward his Commander. “I’ll deal with you in a second bitch.” He started kicking Baraka too. He started laughing at the Nomad.

Milenna took one sai that she found of hers that she found. She lunged forward, and before the low class fighter knew what hit him, he was lifted up in the air by a sharp metal object. Milenna was evenly balanced on her one leg. She took one spare sai she had, and ripped the fighters gut out.

Arach sighed, and was able to shoot Milenna’s broken leg off.Milenna screamed like hell, and plummeted to the ground, the dead fighter landing on top of her.The fighter caused her arm to bend, and her sai was barely an inch away from
her heart.

Arch went toward Baraka, who seemed unconscious. He ripped the Nomad’s shroud off, and to his amazement, this was a different Nomad. It wasn’t Baraka at all.

“You son of a bitch.” Arch said slightly.

He walked over to Milenna. She was trying to roll the fighter off of her. He pointed his Slugs toward the fighter. “You wouldn’t?” Milenna said. A slight tear came out of her eye. He shot, and the weight of the fighter became too much, and a shrieking yell came out of Milenna. But the blood in her throat and mouth choked it up.

The force of the Edenians soon overpowered them. The Nomad who Arch thought was Baraka, got up. Arch looked back, seeing the bloodied corpse run at him. He extended his mechanical arm, and shot furiously. The Nomad’s left arm, and right leg were shot off. He sort of whimpered, and by the time he turned his head, it was on the ground.

Arch had a good view of every battle going on in the small war. He extended his arm one more time, and blasted every Nomad he could, while taking out some of his fighters that were too scared to battle. Soon there were only three left.

One leaped into the air, and tried a suicidal attack, but before he did, Arch’s rocket fist slammed into the Nomad’s face, ending his life by shattering its skull on a large rock. Arch soon jumped down by the two remaining Nomads, and took off his mask. He sucking a bit of air, and breathed out, flames engulfing one Nomad. He beat it to the ground, where he kicked it to death.

He turned to the final Nomad, and ripped its arms off. “Now that you can’t fight, tell us where your central chambers are.” The Nomad shook his head in disbelief, and walked back. Arch knew he wouldn’t say anything, and took it out of his misery.

Several hours later at Ruins of Shao Kahn’s Castle:
“That bastard. He wasn’t even there. Now I know how much of a coward he is.” Arch said.

“Pardon me sir, but now that we slaughtered half of their race, we can now go search for their chambers.” The “new” captain, named: Rattler, said.

“Half of their race? How dense are you? There are more in their tunnels flooded with these things, and even more scattered here in this realm.”

Between Realms:
Predator was wielded in between dimensions, and was forced into a random portal.

Somewhere in Outworld:
Predator landed in a barren wasteland. The technological restraints he had were some how destroyed. His ninja garbs were bad shape, and his mask missing. He rose up, taking off what was left of the restraints on him, and started walking toward what seemed statues. It was some ledge, and he looked down, to see hundreds, and even thousands of dead Edenians and other races
impaled on spikes.

He saw a group of shrouded men with torches, chanting something Predator couldn’t understand.
“You!” He walked over to the one who led the group. “Who did this?” Predator said, looking over to the large pit area. The shrouded man looked over to the ruins of a large Castle. He pointed at that direction.Predator snarled a bit, but he continued on to where that man pointed. For some reason he trusted him. His instincts told him to follow.

Kahn’s Castle:
“But why wouldn’t he attend the battle? He had that damn gem.” The Captain looked sort of confused.

“What is he planning?” Arch said in a low toned voice.

Main Wastelands, Tunnel Chambers:
“That Quan Chi was a nothing but a damned fool.” Baraka said. “Look, brothers! Look at what we have attained.” He was in one tunnel’s, and all other tunnels entered this pit. It was filled with gold and diamonds. It was filled with gilded swords, and treasure boxes full of gold coins. “Look at what we have stolen from the Outlanders. Without this, their resources will surely fade.

Baraka was proud of outsmarting Quan Chi. His alliance with him only meant his much. Baraka knew Quan Chi would be defeated, and he had stolen this during the process. Barak opened his palm, the gem had fully bonded to his palm. He laughed evilly, and knew it was only a matter of time until the Nomads would rule.

The loss of a small clan of Nomads, and the loss of Milenna meant nothing to him now. The gem….
The gem has incredible power. It has part in something bigger. Something more sinister and evil was apart of this. All things have reason. And all this was laid out, even before the beginning of life in any realm…
