Zilpha Galloway Hollingsworth Notebook

Note: Zilpha Galloway was the second wife of John Hollingsworth,Matilda White having been his first wife that died after having 7 children. Zilpha was born in 1809 and John was born 1792 andJohn's family was the first Hollingsworth family in FayetteCounty, Al. Matilda and Zilpha mothered 21 children for John.Zilpha found time to write down something about her family andher day in a notebook of which I have a photocopy. She was theonly ancester that bothered to write anything much down.Following are the record of her family taken from her note bookwith some of my comments thrown in.

This cemetery is about loo yards to the right in the Woods at the foot of Ford's Mountain. (At present time, 1990, is behind a brick house driveway.)
