~~~~~Window Blinds~~~~~~~~~~
the child lost in a world of pain
she grew up to fast from her fathers hands
She was the mother to others
and a child to society
.
She knew more than she portrayed
after leaving all behind
she was still a child
she found herself on the streets
in the arms of men that knew she was but a child
.
She grew close with friends only to watch them
turn on her like her family had.
Found love in men that soon left her as her father had
She swore she would get revenge on everyone
that has done her wrong
.
Through pain she brought the pills and the blades with
her
she wanted so bad to take
what everyone seemed to say wasnt hers
she would cry herself to sleep at night
the only time when others couldnt see.
.
she went many nights with no where to go
she roamed the streats for a friend or a mother of her
own
She always ended up being the one who took someone in
she was their friend till they needed her no longer
than poof they were gone
and she was once again left in solitude
.
Comonly called she was a whore.
her mother told her that when she was young
for she lured her father in
her mother was wrong for she had wished for it to stop
but now as life has aged her she now finds comfort in
the
older men
.
Shes still a child out on the streets
where has her family gone
why have they deserted her
.
than this night came
where she could take no more
she drank herself to sleep
on the corner of her familys street.
they found her the next morning dead from pain
she wouldnt move and they let her be
she sat there till the next day untill she wasnt scared
she walked to the door and said her goodbyes
.
She got no answer only saw the shudder of the blinds
she left that night
went her own way for she is alone now
and shes happy shes in her world of solitude
with the black walls that some say make her blind
