Yeah I guess I will start this post as I do all my others... Been a while, but ya I am still alive and kickin.

My only really big news is I got back the results from the FE exams. I passed!! I was very glad to see all my studying and prayers paid off!

For those who are wondering, the Fundementals of Engineering or FE exam is required to be passed before one can take the Professional Engineers or PE exam. These are state issued test showing, and I hope to prosper well from taking them.

There is really only one problem. Before I can take the PE, I have to have 4 or 5 years of experience working under one. Sooo... I got a while, but what the who! I PASSED the FE and am happier than you could ever believe!

Oh for any who care's I still suck at fly fishin. Stickin with it on the week ends though.

Hypocrisy? Treason?

Ohh Lord forgive me!! What a vile, treasonest act I have commented. So evil was this breach of trust I deserve to be slung head long like a lighting bolt straight though Cocytus to Tolomea where I would suffer with the likes of Cassius, Brutus, and Judas Iscariot!

What sin have I commented so vile to leave me in such a desolate place, you ask? I broke a vow and oath to abandon the materialistic world!! I swore to myself that no more than a bed, a desk, and a couch would I suffer though this world. With but one dish and one fork would I dine. But as time progressed I have shown my true colours.

I bought a TABLE!! And with it came plates and forks and glasses and a new light over head.

Dear Lord Jesus save me!

Hmmm first post in what?? 6 months or there abouts? Ya I know I have been slackin a good bit but still life carrying on as normal.

Work is going great. Everyday is a blast, no manner how much they throw at me I seem to make some sense of it all.

The house is alot of fun. Had a few small projects. I installed a garage door opener, walled in the garage, it still needs paint though. Other stuff? Well I am working on the yard some. I have put out about 60# of fescue seed, fertilized the yard today so I hope it will look sweet very very soon.

Got to go trout fishing over the weekend with my cousin James. We had a blast. I am trying to learn how to fly fish. There is a learning curve to it for sure.

Well that is about it. Hopefully sooner rather than later next time!!

House Shopping DONE!!

Well I signed on a house today!! It is official, I will have a place of my own. We will close on the house around Sept 15, if all goes well.

If your curious how it went down, it was something like this. The house was originally 120k. When I found it, it had been marked down to 115k. I offered 90k to start with to see how the owner would react. They stuck firm to their price. I knew this was a low bid, but never know what you might get.

Next I made a sizeable increase up to 105k. They then came back and offered 110k and 2.5k closing. I went back and offered 108k and requested 3.5k closing and they accepted!!!

110 was my personal limit. 105 was my target, but they had put alot of work into the house, new roof and paint, so I wanted to help them recoupe some of that cost. So I think it worked out very well.

I have paid something called earnest money which is more or less a holding fee which means they will not sale. Now I have to get the house inspected, hopefully Monday or Tuesday of next week.

House Shopping

Well I am in the market for a house. I have a loan going though with the bank, waiting for approval. I just went out and looked at the first one today. I really liked what I saw.

It seems like a really good house all in all. 3 bed 2 bath. $115k for it. I am planning on offering $103k. We will see how it goes.

Other than that, life as normal.

4th Of July

Well I am back in Cartersville now, rested up and ready to start work again tomorrow. Had quite the weekend though.

To start out, I managed to head out of work a few hours early Friday. Soon as i hit I-75 though it was gridlocked, so i said "What the heck we will go though the country." So i bought a map at the nearest station, then headed off. First country road I turned on however, and gridlock!! Now, i already knew that Georgia folks aint got no sense in how they name their roads, however this was compounded badly when I reallized my map had several type-o's on it. I managed to get lost all of 4 times on my way down due to these two factors. I managed to turn a 4.5 hour trip into a 9 hour expedition.

Well finally made it home and had some spagiti for supper and a little rest. The next day we began the big project. My father and i rebuilt the pire in our pond. All in all this went very well. Was 18 ft long and 5 ft wide. Trodging around waste deep in a cow pond is great!!

On our way back and forth to get supplies, my dad had me stop the truck in front of an old house in town to show me something. It was a yellow jacket's nest that COVERED the side of a house. I have to admit it was something.

I headed on up to the river Monday night to hang out with Cara and Jessie. I was very glad to see them. Both doing quite well. Headed out with Lester to a band party. Lots of people, had a great time.

Afterwards we went quail fishing. Yes i said quail fishing. Now before you say WTF, let me explain. The point of it is you ride your truck around in a field at night with someone holding a spot light and someone else with a dip net. You try to catch as many quail as you can. Now I am sad to say that my first trip was a bust, other than chasing a live armodilla though a pasture, but it got away from us. Can't be too surprized though, the dead one escaped us also!!

After all that fun, I had a quite 4th and then headed back to Georgia a little early. Hope to see you all soon!!

New Computer Ordered

Well the day finally come. I have been planning on building a new PC for quite a while now, and this past week i got a bug in me and ordered the first half of it. Could not bear to order it all at once because of $$ but after much consideration I decided to order the rest of it today. Hopefully all the parts will be in by Friday and this time next week i will be putting it all together. Going to make a write up of it the best i can as i go through it. Just a couple of high lights on it, AMD Athlon X2 3800+ dual core processor and a BFG 7900 GTX OC 512MB GPU! Other than that, I had surgury on a saliva gland last week. All healed up now, went very well. Also still looking for a house, but i am a little farther away than I was now ><.

All I have to do is swing

Ohh how things do pass me by. For those that do not know, I should not say.

Had a great weekend. Best weekend of the new year by far. I went to Auburn late Friday night and hung with friends. Met up at Mikatas. Can you say Dejavu? Nm anyway after that we went over to Kenny's for a bit then headed to the Super Club. Lynam was playing and I have to admit they where pretty good. Saw Freeman and Spencer, then headed out for the night.

Next morning I made my way to Georgiana. Had the chance to work on the fence with my Father. We had a good time and got a great fence built. Didnt get the chance to catch up with Sarah, but still did alot around the house. Went to Church the next day. Was a good service. And this comes from a very Religious, very anti-organized religion person. After lunch I was able to catch up with Michael and Ken for a few in A-Town, then headed back to C-ville.

Work is great. We are getting ever closer to start up. Few problems left with N2 system, but it is getting there.

Roll To Me

Look around your world pretty baby

Is it everything you hoped itíd be

The wrong guy, the wrong situation

The right time to roll to me

Look into your heart pretty baby,

Is it aching with some nameless need.

Is there something wrong and you canít put your finger on it

Right then, roll to me

And I donít think I have ever seen a soul so in despair

So if you want to talk the night through

Guess who will be there?

So donít try to deny it pretty baby,

Youíve been down so long you can hardly see

When the engineís stalled and it wonít stop raining

Itís the right time to roll to me

Look around your world pretty baby

Is it everything you hoped itíd be

The wrong guy, the wrong situation

The right time to roll to me

Still alive!

Hope yall doing good. Aint been a whole lot going on up in north Georgia. Works been going good.

Not a whole lot going on on the social front. End up spending most of the day at work, only to come home, eat supper and watch some movie for the 100th time.

Really sucks that the girls who like me i dont like, and the girls i like dont like me.

Enough of my sad social life. I know i got you all in tears by now. Hmm what else for news. Still looking forward to the house. Still got a little bit more saving to do, but it is getting closer every day. I am scared though that the house that i have been looking at has sold. So needless to say i have been heart broken for the past couple of days. Just another reason i dont need a girlfriend around, broken hearts.

Dont have any big plans for V-day coming up here in a couple of weeks. Might send a certain someone some flowers. Might give some to the girl at work, or both. Hell dont much manner one way or the other.

Hhhhmmm what else? Might join a gym soon. I could use some buffing up now that i am done with school. But then again trying to save all my cash for the house. That said still aint got started building that computer i have been planning.

Well that is about it for me. Later!
