1864 Muster Roll stated he died of disease January 9, 1864, at his home near
Larkinsville, Alabama. He was recorded as 40 years of age, 5'-9" tall, having
fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, born in Marion County, Alabama, and a
farmer by occupation. Ephraim Latham was his Captain.
