HOW TO JOIN

The following things must be done in order for you to be able to take part in the league.

First pick a team name and home ground, captain and two wicketkeepers.

1) Choose a squad of 15 players. Names can be real or made up.

2) Give each player a batting average. This must be at least 5 and no more than 55 for each
player. You have 360 batting points to assign to your squad.

3) Give each player a bowling average. Total of bowling averages must be no less than 360. 9
players must be able to bowl, no more. Averages for each player must be between 25 and 65.
Players that do not bowl will be listed as DNB.

4) Give your bowlers a bowler type. These are: F-Fast, FM-Fast Medium, MF-Medium Fast, M-Medium,
LS-Leg Spin, OS-Off Spin, C-Chinaman. Players who do not bowl-DNB.

5) Assign a fileding ability to each player. 65 points to be shared amongst the 13 players.
Wicketkeepers are automatically adjusted to 10 points.

TURNS
-----------------------

Matches will be played every Sunday to allow for the extra input from managers. One week
should be enough time for people to send in their turn details.

Deadline for turn details will be 4pm Sunday (Australian EST).
Anyone failing to have their details in will be forfeited unless there is a valid
explanation.

1 extra point will be awarded if turn details are sent in by 4pm Saturday.

TURN DETAILS
-----------------------

Each week, you will have to send in details of your squad.

You should list-

* starting XI in batting order
* 5 players whom you would like to train. This will take the form of the player up by
one level. So, if a player had a form of 3, it would be increased to 4. Form ranges from 1-6.
* How aggressive you want each player to be for bowling and batting (separate). Choose a
percentage between 10 and 100. 10 is very defensive, 100 is very aggressive. Default is 50.
* Bowling order. Name your two opening bowlers.

* Transfers. These occur every week starting after the first two rounds. You send me the names of
players you want to transfer out and I will send everyone else a list of these players.
These details are to be sent to me by Wednesday night (Preferrably by Tuesday). Only two
players allowed in and two out per manager per week. You receive 2 premiership points for
selling a player and 5 player points for taking a player.

* Draft. Each fortnight a list of new players available to "Buy" will be sent to each manager.
Details for these players and backgrounds will be displayed. To buy these players, you must
pay the required amount. You pay either by premiership or player points. Amount required will
vary for each player.

*Manager Reports. Two player points will be rewarded each week to managers that hand in a report of the match that their team played in. The reports may be anywhere from one sentence to 5 paragraphs, and extra quality and content may be rewarded further.

Note: Only 18 players may be in a squad at any time. At least 15 must be in the squad.

MATCHES
-----------------------
Matches will ALL be 5 day games, as this generally brings out the winner as the better balanced
team. For a win, you receive 16 Premiership Points. For a Tie you receive 8 PP and for a Draw
you receive 4 points.

After you send in your team you will be placed on a waiting list for next season, when you will definitely be a manager.

Please send your team to wilmacat@hotmail.com
