I cast a dream across the pond
To have you here with me,
To hear your voice and feel your touch
As soft as it can be.
The dream I hope will soon come true
That in my arms you'll rest,
Inside my heart I have a place
That you may call your nest.
Do dreams at times turn out so real
Or are they never real,
I know this dream is pulling me
To find out how I'll feel.
I cast a dream across the pond
