I worked in the registration department. I completed patient registrations into the hospital as well as registered patients for the lab, radiology, physical therapy, and emergency room

I performed data entry of tax payers retuns into the IRS data-banks.

Transportation Driver, Renzenberger Inc.
From: July, 1999 To: April, 2001

I was hired to drive a nine passenger van. I transported Railroad Crew Members from Roseville, Richmond, Fresno, Stockton, and Bakersfield. I picked crew members up at train sites and transported them to the railroad yards, hotels, or to their homes. I was considered a long haul driver because I only transported crew members that were 25 miles away from either the railroad yards or their homes.



Microcomputer Network/PC Technician, Data Processing, County of Tulare

I was hired as an independent contractor to install and maintain Kiosk Machines for the Private Industry Council. I installed software,  upgraded hardware, programed routers, performed troubleshooting of machines when necessary.



Instructional Aide to John Winterton, College of the Sequoias
From: January, 1997 To: June, 1999

I helped setup the Electronics Department computer lab and inventoried the computer hardware. I collected and graded student assignments, posted student grades, and helped the Instructor with various miscellaneous activities. I also helped with the ongoing security of the NT Server and Network for the Department.



Seasonal Part-time Lab Mgr/Tech, College of the Sequoias
From: January, 1996 To: October, 1998

I performed system management for a 25 user and an 8 user lab, added users, set security for NDS, helped recreate the server for Language Arts Division, and was responsible for installing and troubleshooting software on workstations. I performed troubleshooting of the PC hardware, I monitored and did troubleshooting of the network, installed and repaired network cables, and performed all aspects of network administration. I tutored students in the use of the computers and software (i.e.; Word, Azar, English Discoveries, and WordPerfect to name only a few), and in proper sentence structure and punctuation.

This was a summer position in the Library; I was responsible for troubleshooting desktop PCs; installing and updating software; tutoring students in the use of various software; monitoring the server.



Student Secretary for the Faculty Enrichment Committee, College of the Sequoias
From: January, 1993 To: May, 1995

I was responsible for the modification of the computer program that was used to record Staff and Faculty in-service-training hours; I created fliers announcing in-service-training; I logged faculty in-service-training hours;
I was responsible for the inventory of books and materials in the resource area for the faculty.



Miscellaneous Achievements/Honors:
I received a $1,000 dollar Scholarship form College of the Sequoias in Spring, 1994; I am a life member of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society at College of the Sequoias; I am published in the National Deans List for the years 1994-1995, as well as in Who's Who among Students in American Junior Colleges for the years 1998-1999; I have been on the presidents list at College of the Sequoias almost every semester since 1993.
