This page is dedicated to my viewpoints and whatever they might be and will
change as often as I feel like something else needs to be addressed. This
page is not in any way meant to offend anyone. It is just my opinion and
if you have any comments, feel free to E-Mail me and give it to me straight. If you're visiting my homepage, that means that you're either gay, bi, lesbian, or curious and I feel that this issue effects us all, in one way or another. We have all heard about hate violence and hate crimes and some have learned of it first hand. This issue is one of the most sickening forms of ignorance that I personally have ever seen. People being targeted and harrassed, even assaulted because of: race, sexual preference, age, religion, gender, etc. This has been happening for many years, in one form or another, but now, I major corporation is joining in the fight for human rights. That corporation is MTV (Music Television). They began their fight by bringing the life of a gay college student to major television in "Anatomy of a Hate Crime". Matthew Sheppard was brutally beaten and tied up and left for dead by two teenagers because he was gay. Matthew Sheppard truly believed that he could make a difference in the lives of g,b,l teens. Unfortunately, to make that difference, his life had to end. MTV has very truthfully portrayed this story in order to bring to light the struggle for basic human rights and to try to reach people and make them see that a person is a person, no matter whether he/she is gay, straight, black, white, old, young, your religion or another. Please, help support MTV in their plight to educate both young people and old in basic human rights and help Matthew Sheppard recognize his dream, in his memory. Please visit MTV's web site and do your part to ensure that everyone is able to live their lives the way that they see fit, not the way that society tells them to.
