MY SON JUST BECAME AN EAGLE SCOUT. FEB. 23, 2005
Thanks for Checking out my web site,my name is Al Rudkin. My hobby is making knives.I have been making knives for 25 years +.I use 440-c stainless steel,O-1 oil harden tool steel,I also make knives out of files, which makes a good all round blade that can do just about any job and keep`s a good edge.I use all type`s of material for my handles.I use Deer and Elk horn.I use different kind`s of wood material which I use to get from Bob Engnath, who I met when I moved to Chino Ca. in 1985.It was called The House Of Muzzle Loading at that time.Bob has passed on now,He will be missed by all.Bob always took time out to say hi to all that came into his shop.I have a 15 year old son who helps me by polishing the Antlers for my knives. He also has started to make a few of his own.
