God is Love
Why hate people you don't know
Are they any different from me or you?
Why make them automatically your foe?
Why not hate ourselves too?
They love, cry, laugh, and hurt
Don't you and I?
Why treat them worse than dirt?
Why wish them to die?
Aren't they just as human as us?
God is love and loves us all
And its more than just because
Without love we can't answer His call
Anger builds up within me
When I hear people hating each other
I hope someday we all become blind
And see what a better world it would be
If we could love one another
