"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you--even Jesus." --Acts 3:19-20

One day as I was reading the third chapter of Acts, this passage came right out of the page at me. "Times of refreshing"--something I've found that I've needed more and more in my life. That day, it was so reassuring that they'll come in God's time, which is so much more perfect than mine.

"Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD." --Psalms 27:14

"I think one of my favorite verses is psalms 27:14. i was reading one day in psalms and this verse jumped out at me. i love it. i think that is my biggest problem is waiting for God's timing. He wants to bless so much, much more than we could ask or imagine and all he asks us to do is just wait. And i love how the verse just doesnt tell us to wait but to "be strong and take heart" that part is a comfort to me because it lets me know that it may be hard to wait for God's perfect timing but it will be more than worth it in the end." --Anonymous
