"My Hero"
Not many of the superheroes
that inspired this site's look are evident in the boy today,
but the boy is still my hero.
He still loves his superheroes however it's in the form of DVDs and videogames.
He will not part with many of his favorite toys from
the past years
and they hang on the walls or sit on shelves.

Jacob playing Cops and Chairs?
A three year old "policeman" in his yellow pj's arresting a rocking chair.
A 4 year old Jacob just learning to love Batman figured out how to open my cedar chest
and found inside a black "nightgown". He immediately placed the spaghetti straps around his neck,
flung the gown behind his back and began running around the house excitedly.
"Were you saving this for me for Christmas?" he asked when I came to witness the commotion.
"Can I wear it on the playground?"
