Physical Appearance: Tobias' hawk body has wickedly curved beak, talons, and a wingspan of a couple feet. Since being trapped as a hawk, he has began to feed like a hawk-namely catching mice. This was a hard adjustment at first, but he can deal. Tobias' human morph is a regular human, with blond eyes and dirty blond, tousled hair. Attitude: Tobias is mostly a loner. He had a messed up family life. As a result, he wasn't noticed missing when he became a full-time hawk. He used to be a bully-magnet. He was kind of a dreamer, with his head in the clouds. Since being trapped he has toughened up some, and wants to destroy the Yeerks. He considers this as his way to remain human on the inside. Tobias seems happy as a hawk now, maybe he even likes it better than being human. Hmmm... that's something to think about. Relations within the Animorphs: Tobias could consider Ax his best friend, and vice versa. They are both alone in their worlds; Ax the only Andalite on Earth, seperated from his people. Tobias is a human trapped as a hawk. A Bird-Boy as Marco calls him. This unifies them as the strangest creatures on Earth. Marco teases Tobias sometimes. They really are good friends, even though there's not especially close. All the Animorphs are pretty close, but you know what I mean. Now Rachel and Tobias have a little thing going. Mainly Tobias turns to her when he needs strength. They like each other, but won't admit it. Probably because he is a bird now, and she is still human. It would be difficult to maintain a relationship with their situation. Jake and Tobias were once only friends through association, since Jake protected him from a group of bullies. Now, however, they have become better friends through the common horror they have shared. Finally, Cassie lets Tobias live in the woods behind her house, along with Ax. She brings him frozen mice when he is on a important mission and won't be able to hunt. Acquired Morphs: raccoon, his old human body, dolphin, horse, Hork-Bajr, shark, fly, mole, bat, mosquito, Deinonychus (unusable), seagull FYI: Tobias narrates #3 The Encounter and #13 The Change. Tobias is afraid of water. Get this, he is Prince Elfangor's son! Check this out in The Andalite Chronicles! An entire timeline turns on him, according to the Ellimist. (Talk about pressure, yeesh.) In #23, Tobias finds out about Elfangor.
