The Ellimists
The Ellimist wants to save the planet from destruction. He says Ellimists don't interfere with the affairs of private people, but step in to save sentient races when they face extinction. He offers the Animorphs the chance to go to another planet and save a sample of the humans. He takes them to the future to try and convince them, but the Ellimist doesn't want them to accept his offer. He indirectly shows them the location of the Kandrona. He finds a loophole in his own rules to help the Animorphs.
The Ellimists (the whole species) are just a myth to most races, including the Andalites. They are fairy tales, supposedly extinct for thousands of years. The Ellimists and their powerful weapons are not extinct, however. One weapon in particular, the time matrix, can bend the very fibers of time and space. The Ellimists always claim noninterference, but actually do. They are fighting their own enemies, much more powerful than the regular menace of the Yeerks. The Ellimists must win, or untold suffering will befall everyone, bad guys and good guys alike.
![]() Okay, I know the ellimists probably don't look like this, but I saw this picture and that's what first came to mind. Maybe because of one of them appearing as blue in The Stranger?
