The Band Booster Club meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 in the band hall. Everyone should come!

The Band Booster Club treasurer, Dan Stage, has asked that when students use their credits to pay for trips and other band functions, they use a credit voucher. You should be able to get one from the band treasurers or at Booster Club meetings.

Eric Becker, father of Michelle Becker, has made an exciting offer to the Booster Club. Mr. Becker will donate one $200 or two $100 scholarships to the AHS Band Booster Club each time a member either sells or buys a home. Anyone referring someone that buys or sells a home will also earn the same scholarship benefit for the Booster Club. To qualify, you only need to have your home being sold, listed with or purchased from Eric Becker of Coldwell Banker Paula Stringer Realtors. The person earning the scholarship for the Booster Club will be able to make the decision of having one $200 or two $100 scholarships. The Band Booster Club executive committee will handle the selection process for scholarships being awarded. CLUSTER CONCERT APRIL 9

The AHS Band will host a cluster concert for all of the feeder junior high bands. All of the AHS bands and the junior high bands will be performing. There is a spaghetti dinner before the concert. It is catered by Spaghetti Warehouse and costs $5 per ticket. More information is available in the band hall.

TRIP QUICKLY APPROACHING!

The 1998 spring band trip is in less than a month!! Final payments on the trip were due Friday, March 27. If you haven't made your final payment, get it in ASAP! The trip is from April 16-19 so start getting ready!!

The band banquet will be on Friday, May 15. The date was oroginally set for Friday, May 8. The date was moved because of prom being on Saturday, May 9. It will be held at the Hilton in Arlington. The tickets should cost around $20. The 1998-1999 officers, drill instructors and drum majors will be announced. There will also be a slide show of everything we've done this year and senior predictions. It is tons of fun! Mark your calender now!
