The Morph

The Slaughter House 5 consists of four microphone technicians and one human record lacerator. Together forming The SLAUGHTER HOUSE 5. We came together within a one year period from October of '97 to November of '98.

One day in October of 1998, while two heads (Chapter and HGROK) were rippin' in a practice session building up their skills (instead of paying attention to their Trig teacher) to decapitate mics, they stumbled upon an idea. The two thought about getting two other headz (Lost Won and LorD360) who were already locally etablished as ill, and a well known D.J. (Maestroh) to record some trax. All knew one another and knew each other's talents. They all decided they were to be artists, but their intention was to go solo after the SLAUGHTER HOUSE Project was released. That intent is still pending, but for right now these five noks from the Chicagoland area are collaborating to create an album. The Slaughterheadz respect HipHop as an art to the fullest,but intend on bringing it into a whole new dimension and create a distinctive sound.

LorD360 attacks the listener with an intense mixture of savage style battle-raps and philisophical riddles. LOSt-ONE, or LOST SOUL, spits mind twisting rhymes with a royal presence upon the microphone, while HG ROK utilizes a reckless-abandon cybernetic flow. CHAPTER rips in a corpse-burning dark fashion and nasty dj MAESTROH incinerates each track with razor sharp cuts. The SlaughterHead style is that of no other and will be more than glad to prove itself when the album drops.

This site is still under constant construction and relatively new, so later on we will have photos and sounds for all to look, listen, and learn from!

To add to that we are all very busy producing and writing tracks for the forthcoming album from the Slaughter House Alliance due in stores later this year with much thanks to REGIME records!

Also the Slaughter heads will perform in Chicago and in the suburbs for live shows, all this summer. keep clockin' for detailed info. on the times and dates.+
