Kreese's Wrestling Angles

This page is dedicated to predicting what angles are about to arise in the WWF An angle for those of you who are unaware is the storyline in which wrestlers are involves e.g. The formation of the 4 man Union is an angle. As is Steve Austin's continuing feud with Shane McMahon.

The Predictions for the future.

World Title. Steve Austin lost his belt at Over The Edge but at the time no one cared about it. Simply put there were more important things on the minds of those watching on. I won't talk about Owen Hart. Everyone else has, I didn't know Owen personally but I'll certainly miss his antics on Raw and other WWF programming he was always great fun and he'll be truly missed.

Back to the World Title situation. The Undertaker has snagged himself the biggest belt in the bizz - the WWF title. He's now a 3 time champion and the first outright heel champ since Yoko Zuna. I'm discounting Bret Hart's heel run as champion since he was still a face in Canada and Michaels was getting some support when he was a heel champion after that. Even the Rock got a lot of face heat when he was meant to be a heel. So my point being someone has to slay the beast that is the current world champion. Austin is the most likely candidate (boring), it's about time someone else got a shot at being the big hero and even though he doesn't talk I'd love to see Glen Jacobs (aka Kane) walk away with the gold. He's beaten the Undertaker before so it would be believeable and Austin would be out of the main event which is a bonus as well as it shows depth.

The merging of the Ministry and The Corporation has produced a monster. The monster needs to be trimmed a little I think. BossMan doesn't seem to serve any particular purpose, Midian? any ideas whats going on there? Viscera is just a big fat jobber. In short the CM needs to trim the fat (or fatties even).

The light-heavyweight division is in dire need of a big name,I said this last time and I say again.Get some damn Luchdores or something. This is the one area where the WWF gets solidly and consistently beaten into the ground on by WCW. They have great matches in their division, frequent title defences and no Duane Gill as champion if you smell what I'm cooking.

WCW - Goldberg or Bret Hart deserve a world title shot but with DDP patting himself on the back and Kevin Nash booking his buddies to the top we won't see it. I'm banking on Bret to call it quits and stay out of the sport when he's pocketed Ted Turner's millions of dollars. WWF - Nothing would delight me more than to see Shawn Michaels back healthy and performing again.

Tag Team Division. Well Public Enemy didn't last long in the WWF. They were pretty out of shape though so maybe thats not so bad. Edge and Gangrel look good as a tag team. Not that WCW has any teams better. WWF needs to hire more good teams. It is more a singles world now Pro Wrestling and tag teams are a dying breed. I'm pleased a proper tag team was given the belts when the Acolytes won them.

What I want - Billy Gunn to get some mic skills, Bret Hart to be world champion in WCW, Chris Benoit as US Champion, HHH to win the big gold in the WWF before the year is out he deserves that title reign for his commitment to the company and his consistency.

LAST UPDATE 6th June 1999.
RIP Owen Hart 1965-1999
