THE EARLY YEARS

Ethan Embry/Randall was born on June 13, 1978 and grew up in Huntington Beach, California, U.S.A. with his parents Karen and Chuck; younger sister Kessia and older brother Aaron; 5 dogs and 8 cats. At a very young age, he knew he wanted to become an actor. His first performance was in a theatre production of "Pinnochio." This fortunately lead to commercials and a role in "Babes in Toyland" at the Pasadena Playhouse. That is where he appeared with dancer Chris Finch. Mr. Finch had starred in the Madonna video "Who's That Girl," and his dancing abilities inspired Ethan to take dancing lessons, which he has continued for the past two years. Ethan was also placed sixth in the overall competition of California finals for the U.S. Gymnastics Federation at the age of 10. Currently, his hobbies include collecting unusual cameras and darkroom equipment, surfing, and playing the piano and bass on the guitar (he is left-handed, but plays with his right). His love for music inspired him to be in a band called Southern Comfort Colonic in which his brother participates. Much of his family is involved in his life. His brother and sister have been in movies with him including A Far Off Placeand Empire Records. His mother is his manager and controls most of the behind the scenes stuff. Ethan Embry/Randall has certainly come a long way. He has definitely proven his talent as a person and as an actor. Here are some of the films he has done in his early years.:
